Karim Rashid has created The Endless Nile table for Amr Helmy Designs.

A consortium of Egyptian interior design companies, including Amr Helmy Designs, came together to form the Design Republic of Egypt brand, intending to develop interior solutions combining Egyptian creativity with international design trends.

This new design, while inspired by the past, deconstructs conventional table and seating concepts to recombine them in an original and contemporary solution.

The Endless Nile table is inspired by the slow and perpetual flow of the Nile river.
Having a wooden base with a steel structure, the white Dupont Corian brings fluidity into the design and clearifies the lines and its structure.

Dimensions: (l x w x h): 210 x 180 x 78 cm.

Comfort, poethic and progressive products for fine dining restaurants by Jens Fager.
"The sphere of fine dining" by Jens Fager, was presented at Milan fair, this April. But unfortunatelly the press kit was not ready when it was supposed to be!

Today I've finally receaved via mail images from the collection and some interesting informations about its success! The armrest chair has been bought of The Röhsska Museum of Fashion, Design and Decorative Arts in Gothenburg for their collection, a lot of press, several galleries around the world showed their interest to exhibit the products and an discussion with a couple of producers have started.

"The sphere of fine dining" was born when I designed the interior for Tommy Myllymäki´s (chef of the year in Sweden 2007) fine dining restaurant at Julita gård 150 km south of Stockholm. We made a dining set-up of bandsawed furniture. The idea is based on naive cartoon sketches translated into 3-dimesional useable products. The comfort of the chairs have been very important for us.
The technique is bandsaw-machine and the objects is made out of Swedish Pine.

So you spent a near fortune on a perfect sofa and coffee table for that great party you are going to throw, but true to human nature, most of your guest will invariably end up in or around the kitchen. They are, after all, only human and adapting to the fact that all the booze and grub is flowing from the kitchen area. It was this adaptive nature in all of us that inspired this social seating design by Tab Turnmire. Let’s face it, when socializing people will sit on almost anything. So designing a seating area that can adapt from table top to seat was a stroke of near genius. Perfect for any lobby or coffee shop layout, these seats/tables/seats easily make sense…how ever you look at it.

4/4 е мулти-сегментна композиция с многобройни възможности. 4 броя сегменти образуват правилен кръг, който може да се използва както за сядане, така и за маса. Няколко сегметна 4/4 образуват криволичеща композиция, което може да се променя в зависиност от броя, цвета и посоката. Биха могли да се подреждат във височина и да се използват като библиотечен шкаф. Помещението, в което са подредени 4/4 сегменти винаги е различно. Предлагт се както в плътни, така и в полупрозрачни цветове в бяло, червено. оранжево и полупрозрачно лилаво.
